This story was updated March 19 to identify the shooting s victim and note the arrest of a suspect in the shooting. Indianapolis Metropolitan Police officers are investigating a shooting that left one person dead Saturday on the city s southeast side. According to a news release, officers responded to reports of a person shot in the 4400 block of Lickridge Court shortly after 7 p.m. When officers arrived to the scene they found a woman with injuries consistent with a gunshot wound. She was pronounced dead at the scene. Police say they believe this is a domestic homicide.  The Marion County Coroner s Office on Friday identified the woman as 23-year-old Karen Leticia Castro Hernandez. The coroner said Hernandez died from gunshot wounds.
