Indianapolis police are investigating Thursday night after officers responded to shots fired inside a south-side Walmart.
William Young of the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department said an off-duty officer near the store responded to the gunshots fired in the northwest side of the store, at 7245 US 31, and called for back-up.
Police said no one is hurt.
Young said police are talking with three persons of interest after the shooting, and asked anyone with information to call either 317-327-3475 or 317-262-8477.
The store will remain closed for the rest of the evening, Young said, and potentially Friday.
