The company will have a non-stop flight from Indy to Panama City available five times a week, starting June 6. You’ll also be able to fly non-stop from Indy to Miami on Saturdays, starting June 12. Indianapolis flights: Boston, Los Angeles, Orlando routes coming

Three nonstop flights are coming to Indianapolis International Airport this summer. Officials announced Thursday that American Airlines will offer a new flight to Orlando from IND starting June 5 “in response to increased leisure travel demand.” The airline will also resume nonstop flights to Los Angeles in May and Boston in June. The route to Boston was halted after January 2020 as the COVID-19 pandemic began to spread across the country. A statement on the airport website said domestic flights are in demand as the pandemic s threat diminishes. Passenger traffic at the airport last year was 57% lower than 2019. That included a 56.5% decline in domestic passenger traffic and an 80.6% decline in international travelers.
