4 hours ago in Local Photo: WHCU ITHACA, N.Y. (WHCU) – United Airlines will resume flights between Ithaca and Washington D.C. starting in June. According to the Ithaca Tompkins International Airport, two daily flights will be available during weekdays and one daily flight will be available on Saturday and Sunday. Airport Director Mike Hall says the airport is getting back to what it used to be. Now with Delta Airlines going to Detroit, American Airlines going to Charlotte and United Airlines connecting to Washington Delles, Ithaca is back to being a hub for air transportation. Hall also says with each of the three airports having major access to domestic and international travel, this brings ITH even closer to where they were pre-pandemic.
