Italy PM calls on coalition partners to remain united to face crisis World News Reuters Staff ROME (Reuters) - Italy’s prime minister on Wednesday urged members of his coalition government to stay united as the country grapples with a public health emergency and an economic crisis. “These are massive, very demanding challenges,” Giuseppe Conte said on Facebook, adding that it was essential to “reinforce the cohesion of the majority and the solidity of the government team”.

Fauci says he believes worst is still to come in the pandemic following holiday season
Asked if he thinks that the worst is still yet to come in the pandemic, Dr. Anthony Fauci said I do. We very well might see a post-seasonal in the sense of Christmas, New Years surge, Fauci said on CNN s State of the Union.
He continued: We re really at a very critical point. If you put more pressure on the system by what might be a post-seasonal surge because of the traveling and the likely congregating of people for, you know, the good warm purposes of being together for the holidays, it s very tough for people to not do that.
