Bangladesh high commissioner among 24 envoys visits Kashmir

New Delhi: A group of 24 foreign diplomats including Mohammad Imran, High Commissioner of Bangladesh to India, witnessed the strengthening of grass-roots democracy in Kashmir during a two-day official visit.
The group represents various geographical regions and countries including Bangladesh, Belgium, Bolivia, Brazil, Chile, Côte d Ivoire, Cuba, Estonia, Finland, European Union, Eritrea, France, Ghana, Italy, Ireland, Kyrgyz Republic, Malaysia, Malawi, Netherlands, Portugal, Senegal, Spain, Sweden and Tajikistan.
The diplomats were also informed about investment opportunities in Kashmir, Indian Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) spokesperson Anurag Srivastava said in a briefing on Saturday.

India, Australia, Japan, US hold Quad meet, discuss rules-based order, Myanmar coup
Foreign ministers of India, Australia, Japan and the USA held the third Quadrilateral Security Dialogue meeting on Thursday. The ministers discussed cooperation in countering disinformation, counterterrorism, maritime security and the urgent need to restore the democratically elected government in Myanmar.

The third Quadrilateral Security Dialogue meeting of the foreign ministers of India, Australia, Japan and the USA took place on Thursday.
The meeting was attended by Minister of External Affairs of India S Jaishankar, Australia Foreign Minister Marise Payne, Japan minister Toshimitsu Motegi and US Secretary of State Antony Blinken.
