- ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: Expressing deep concern over the COVID-19 situation in the Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK), the President of Azad Jammu and Kashmir Sardar Masood Khan has offered to send a consignment of medical supplies to the conflict-stricken region to deal with the pandemic. “AJK ready to send a consignment of medicines, vents, oxygen, sanitizers, masks & PPEs (Personal Protective Equipments) to help Kashmiris fight Coronavirus,” the AJK President Masood Khan said. Masood Khan said that the consignment can be delivered by the AJK Red Crescent. The AJK president said that the COVID-19 pandemic has spiked in the IIOJK with over 200,000 infections and more than 2,500 deaths. He said that every day more than 3500 new Coronavirus Cases are being reported and the latest daily cited fatalities have been more than 50.
