This was stated by Member Parliament Ladakh Jamyang Tsering Namgyal during the inauguration ceremony of the Indian Oil Corporation Limited new Shey filling station at Shey Smanla today. This is the 19th filling station by IOCL in the region of Ladakh. MP Jamyang Namgyal also inaugurated the 5 Kg Free Trade LPG (FTL) gas cylinders ‘Chhotu’. On the occasion, he also made a virtual dedication of eight newly commissioned IOCL filling stations situated in various parts of Leh and Kargil districts.

These petrol pumps are located in areas that include snow bound Zanskar and second coldest habitation in the world, Drass.  On the occasion at Shey Smanla outlet, Mr. Jamyang also inaugurated the sale of Winter Grade Diesel with a pour point of minus 33 degrees Celsius.   Speaking on the occasion, Mr. Jamyang said with the special attention of the Centre, the Union Territory Ladakh is receiving winter comforts. Increase in petrol outlets with the winter grade diesel would facilitate the mobility in the region. Similarly, four LPG cylinders to each family is also an historic step towards welfare of the people in snow bound villages. ONGC begins production in Bengal basin, making it India s eighth functional

Oil and Natural Gas Corporation (ONGC) Limited has begun crude oil production from the Asokenagar-1 well, Bengal Basin in 24 Paragana district. This has made the Bengal basin India’s eighth producing basin, joining the ranks of Krishna-Godavari (KG), Mumbai Offshore, Assam Shelf, Rajasthan, Cauvery, Assam-Arakan Fold Belt and Cambay. A company statement said, “The Asokenagar-1 well was completed as an oil producer under Early-Monetization Plan issued by the Government of India. This makes ONGC having discovered and put to production seven out of the eight producing basins of India covering 83 percent of established oil and gas reserves.” According to the Directorate General of Hydrocarbons, there are 26 sedimentary basins in India, covering a total area of 3.4 million square kilometer. Of these, 16 are onland basins, 7 located both onland and offshore and 3 completely offshore.

Shares of SURYA ROSHNI LTD. was last trading in BSE at Rs.335.4 as compared to the previous close of Rs. 339.75. The total number of shares traded during the day was 7588 in over 569 trades. The stock hit an intraday high of Rs. 342.2 and intraday low of 330.1. The net turnover during the day was Rs. 2556305.

Surya Roshni gains 4% on winning order worth Rs 73 cr from Indian Oil Corp

Shares of Surya Roshni gained 4 per cent to Rs 349 on the BSE in the intra-day on Friday after the company said it has received orders worth Rs 72.62 crore from state-owned oil & gas company Indian Oil Corporation (IOCL). The company has obtained orders aggregating to Rs 72.62 crore (excluding GST) for supply of API 5L Grade 3LPE Coated and bare Pipes to Indian Oil Corporation Limited for gas pipeline projects in Bihar and Tamil Nadu, which is to be executed in 8 months, Surya Roshni said in a exchange filing. Earlier in September, Surya Roshni had obtained orders aggregating to Rs 287.45 crore (excluding GST) for the supply of API Grade 3LPE Coated line Pipes to IOCL for LPG pipeline projects and Bharat Gas Resources (BGRL) for CGD.
