Staged visits to valley can t mislead world opinion on genocide of Kashmiris by India, says Shehryar Afridi

- ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: The Chairman of the Parliamentary Committee on Kashmir Shehryar Khan Afridi on Wednesday said that by blanket shutdown and protest, the brave Kashmiri people have exposed the Indian plans aimed at misleading world opinion about the situation in Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK). Afridi expressed these views while addressing a national seminar regarding solidarity day with Kashmir at Women University Swabi. Senator Waleed Iqbal, columnist Mazhar Barlas, and Vice-Chancellor Swabi Women University Shaheena Urooj. Afridi said that the Indian regime has arranged a staged visit today in Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir but such scripted visits can never mislead the world opinion on Kashmir.

In a special hearing held the Parliament House, Committee Chairman Shehryar Khan Afridi led the questioning of George Salama, who heads the Twitter regional offices in the United Arab Emirates, about the website’s policy on human rights and freedom of speech and other related matters.
