The Foreign Office on Tuesday said it was highly hypocritical of India to do away with the key priorities spelled out during the presidency of the United Nations Security Council.
The statement of Foreign Office Spokesperson Zahid Hafeez Chaudhri came in response to media queries on the Indian External Affairs Minister’s tweet regarding India’s priorities during the presidency of the UNSC.
He mentioned that the Indian External Affairs Minister had spelled out three key priorities for India during its presidency of the United Nations Security Council for the month of August: voice of moderation; advocate of dialogue; proponent of international law.

Federation of Pakistan Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FPCCI) Tuesday expressed unflinching and resolute support and solidarity with people of Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK) who were under an unprecedentedly horrific and inhuman sieged of 730 days.
President FPCCI, Mian Nasser Hyatt Maggo, in a statement issued here, has demanded the international community to do more and isolate India until and unless it ends the barbaric siege of Kashmiris.
He also called for effectively wiped out illegitimate relocations and resettlements in Occupied Jammu and Kashmir.
FPCCI would passionately commemorate Yaum-i-Istehsal to create awareness and make the voice of Kashmir heard loud and clear – domestically & internationally, the statement said adding that “Our message is immediate and total freedom from atrocities and from the siege of the innocent people of Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir by the cowardly Indian forces.”

Qureshi apprises UN Chief of illegal, unilateral & draconian measures by India in Kashmir

ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: On the completion of two years since India’s illegal and unilateral actions in Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK) accompanied by draconian measures to suppress the Kashmiri population, the Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi has addressed a letter to the UN Security Council and the UN Secretary General.
In his letter, the foreign minister has drawn attention to the blatant measures taken by India on August 5, 2019 to consolidate its occupation of the disputed territory, followed by additional unlawful steps to strengthen its colonial hold over IIOJK. These additional steps include illegal changes to the demographic structure and electoral boundaries in the occupied territory, aimed at further marginalisation of Kashmiri Muslims to suppress their demand for freedom from Indian occupation and repression.
