The Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR) has just released the findings of its national survey, estimating the prevalence of antibodies against the SARS-CoV-2 virus in the population. The survey, conducted in June-July 2021, reported a prevalence of 67.6 percent in the general population aged over six years. This figure reveals a big jump from the prevalence estimates of earlier surveys.
