NEW DELHI: India reported a single day rise of 43,654 Covid cases and 640 deaths, pushing the country s total tally to 3,14,84,605 according to the latest bulletin released by the health ministry on Wednesday.
With this, the overall Covid death toll in the country has reached 422, 022, while total cases have jumped to 31.48 crore.
The country s active cases constitute 1.27% of total cases, and now stand at 3,99,436.
A total of 41,678 recoveries were recorded during the last 24 hours, and a total of 3,06,63,147 people have recovered from the disease so far.
With this, the National Covid recovery rate has further improved to 97.39%.
