DOHA: Indian community in Qatar has dispatched medical supplies like oxygen cylinders to India on a naval ship, which came to Qatar on a visit recently.
Oxygen cylinders and other materials to help fight against Covid-19 second wave in India have been collected by Indian Community Benevolent Forum (ICBF).
A total of 200 oxygen cylinders and 43 oxygen concentrators were shipped by INS Kolkata, an Indian Navy Vessel, today to India. Miles apart yet part of India s fight against COVID-19, said the Embassy in a tweet yesterday.

Doha: Qatar’s National Health Strategy Lead for Healthy Ageing and Medical Director of Rumailah Hospital and Qatar Rehabilitation Institute, Dr. Hanadi Al Hamad has recognised representatives of the embassies of Bangladesh and Nepal in Doha and the Indian Community Benevolent Forum (ICBF) for their efforts in providing social and psychological support to patients of these nationalities.
Hamad Medical Corporation cooperates with the embassies of Bangladesh and Nepal and the ICBF to facilitate access for patients of these communities to healthcare services at the right time and place, including rehabilitation and long-term care services, by addressing language challenges and speeding up the processing of official correspondences.
