Students in Cuttack celebrate after the ICSE results were declared on Saturday BHUBANESWAR: Students of Odisha recorded a pass percentage of 99.98% and 99.83% in the Indian Certificate of Secondary Education (ICSE) or Class X and the Indian School Certificate (ISC) or Class XII board exams, respectively. Their results were announced by the Council for Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE) on Saturday. As many as 8,935 students, including 4,068 girls, had registered for the Class X examination from 92 schools in Odisha. Both boys and girls achieved a pass percentage of 99.98%. A total of 1,813 students, including 867 girls, had registered for the Class XII examinations from 25 schools across Odisha. Girls fared better than the boys with a pass percentage of 99.88%. Boys achieved a pass percentage of 99.79%. The council had cancelled the boards for both Classes X and XII this year in the wake of a sudden surge in Covid-19 cases.
