Share New Delhi: KPIT Sparkle is an innovation and entrepreneurship platform that encourages students from science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) domains to develop and incubate transformative solutions for automotive and energy industries. The teams with 20 best ideas, shortlisted from over 2,700 entries across India, successfully presented prototypes virtually. Team Nano-Fluid from ICAR-National Dairy Research Institute, Bengaluru, won the platinum award of INR 10 lakhs. Team 3D Printer from the Pimpri Chinchwad College of Engineering, Pune, won the gold award of INR 5 lakhs. Projects from Team Sand Bird, Vellore Institute of Technology, Vellore; KCG College of Technology, Kancheepuram; and Team AI-Air Battery, Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Madras, Chennai; won the silver awards of INR. 2.5 lakh each.
