× Dr. Annapurna Vancheswaran has been appointed as the new Managing Director of The Nature Conservancy’s India Program. She commences her new role at TNC India today. Dr. Vancheswaran has more than 30 years’ experience associated with The Energy and Resources Institute (TERI) – one of the most prestigious research institutes on the Indian subcontinent. Since 2015 she has been TERI’s Senior Director of Sustainable Development Outreach. She has significant experience in developing and executing successful strategies for sustainable development and climate change; in building strategic partnerships; and fundraising. “I’m very excited to be joining TNC India’s dynamic and highly skilled team dedicated to addressing crucial environmental challenges facing India today,” Annapurna said.
