Patna: The Dr. C.V. Raman University (CVRU), which is a part of the renowned AISECT Group of Universities (AGU) and is situated in the Vaishali district of Bihar, has announced admissions to 2021 intake for its Undergraduate (UG), postgraduate (PG) and diploma programmes. Taking into account the second wave of the Covid-19 pandemic, the University has taken the admission process for the year completely online.
All the facilities and services related to the admission process have been made available virtually, including online campus tours on the University’s YouTube channel and live chats with counselors. Students can submit the application form and deposit their fees online via enabled websites and portals. The University is also set to arrange career counseling sessions for prospective students along with online classes on soft skills, communication and personality development absolutely free of cost.

I write this with deep anguish hoping that our vice-chancellors and heads of the higher education institutions will listen to a common teacher. Every day we hear news of our colleagues dying, dying because they could not get oxygen support in time or because they wasted time running from hospital to hospital. It is heartbreaking to see young colleagues, in their 30s and 40s, dying. Many more are struggling for life.
