UPSC EPFO Exam 2021 has been postponed due to the rise of Covid-19 cases in the country. Along with UPSC EPFO Exam 2021, Civil Services exam interviews and several other recruitment exams have also been postponed by the UPSC.
Previously, the UPSC EPFO Exam 2020 was scheduled to be conducted on May 9, 2021. However, students have urged the commission to postpone the examination to a later date amid surge in Covid-19 cases.

Union Public Service Commission announced deferment of its EPFO, IES and ISSE exams and the civil services personality test via a press release on Monday (19 April).
The Employeesâ Provident Fund Organisation (EO/AO), Recruitment Test, 2020 and The Personality Tests (Interviews) of the Indian Economic Service/Indian Statistical Service Examination 2020 and the Civil Services Examination, 2020 stand deferred due to the rise in Covid-19 cases.
EPFO exam was to be conducted on 9 May, while IES/ISS personality test was scheduled between 20-23 April, and the Civil Services 2020 personality test would have been held between 26 April and 18 June.

NEW DELHI: Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has deferred the entrance exam for the recruitment 421 Enforcement Officer - Accounts Officer till further notice.
The UPSC EPFO recruitment test was scheduled to be conducted on Sunday, May 9, 2021. The Commission will announce new date in due course.
After reviewing the current Covid-19 situation in a special meeting held today the UPSC has decided to postpone the Recruitment Test.
The Commission considered rapidly changing circumstances, health considerations, lockdown restrictions including social distancing norms and aggravating situation enforced due to the pandemic. The Commission has decided that it will not be possible to conduct examinations and interviews for the present.
