India s foreign minister S Jaishankar on Monday met Qatar s top leaders including Qatari Amir, prime minister, deputy prime minister, foreign minister and interior minister and discussed strengthening the economic and security bilateral cooperation, among other issues.
On his meeting with Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, Amir of the State of Qatar, Jaishankar also handed over a personal communication from Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

Qureshi says India knows Pakistan is capable of a prompt response
MULTAN: It is not possible for Pakistan to have talks with India under the current circumstances of tension between the two countries, Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi said Wednesday.
The FM clarified that India will have to end its military siege of Indian-held Kashmir.
He said India is fully aware of Pakistan’s capability to give a prompt response in case of any misadventure and is itself facing internal unrest.

Dubai: Dr Ahmed Al Banna, the UAE Ambassador to India, has received a pictorial biography of Guru Nanak Dev, the revered first Sikh Guru, sent by Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
On behalf of Modi, Consul General of India to Dubai and Northern Emirates, Dr Aman Puri, presented the book in Dubai to Dr Al Banna, the Indian Consulate in Dubai said in a press release.
The occasion also marked the 551st birth anniversary of Guru Nanak, which was widely celebrated recently.
The visually moving biography has been authored by Indian artists Kirpal Singh and Davinder Pal Singh. On the occasion, the Consul General made a small presentation about the origin and philosophy of the Sikh religion and also about the contents of the visual book, the mission said.
