IRCTC rises over 3% in two days

Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation (IRCTC) rose 2.87% to Rs 1479.20, extending its winning run to second trading session.The stock rose 3.67% in two trading days from its previous closing low of Rs 1426.90 posted on 25 January 2021. IRCTC has surged about 91% from its 52-week low of Rs 774.85 hit on 26 March 2020. It hit a 52-week high of on Rs 1,995 on 25 February 2020. IRCTC on Wednesday announced that it will restart operations for both pairs of IRCTC Tejas Trains (82501/82502 and 82901/82902) from 14th February 2021. The above mentioned trains are being fired for booking on IRCTC s website and IRCTC Rail Connect Mobile App. These trains will be running 4 days a week (Friday, Saturday, Sunday, Monday) and will be booked on full capacity of the coaches.

IRCTC to resume E-Catering service from next month; check how to avail it

With the gradual resumption of passenger train services, and amidst the new normal, wherein IRCTC is serving only ‘Ready To Eat’ meals to passengers on trains, there has been an increased demand for the resumption of E-catering services. The company is starting the first phase of E-catering service from February 2021, wherein the service shall commence over 30 Railway Stations catering to approximately 250 trains. IRCTC is ensuring that all its E-catering partners ensure proper health and hygiene protocols while serving the meals to the passengers. The passengers shall avail of the services of E-Catering through www.ecatering.irctc.com. E-catering orders through the telephone is also being restored over 1323 shortly.

The Bharat Darshan trains with special focus on jyotirlinga shrines offering destinations such as Omkareshwsr, Ujjain, Vadodara, Somnath, Dwarka, Nageswara and Ahmedabad from Varanasi and Jalandhar have shown good response since launching of the package, said a senior Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation (IRCTC) official involved with the tourism project.

Photo for representative purpose only BHUBANESWAR: The Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation (IRCTC), a public sector undertaking of the ministry of Railways, has launched special air tour packages to Gujarat and Kerala. One tour ‘Dwarka-Somnath Temple, Jyotirlings with Statue of Unity’ will start from Bhubaneswar, while the second one ‘Majestic Kerala with Shree Padmanabhaswamy Temple’ will start from Visakhapatnam. The Dwarka-Somnath Temple package will start from Bhubaneswar from March 19 and end on March 23 for four nights and five days. The itinerary includes one night stay in Ahmedabad, one night in Dwarka, one night at Somnath and one night in Porbandar.
