The sixth meeting of the India-Nepal Joint Commission, co-chaired by Indian External Affairs Minister S. Jaishankar and his Nepalese counterpart Pradeep Kumar Gyawali, was held on 15 January 2021 in New Delhi. As the Nepalese delegation, comprising the Foreign Minister, Foreign Secretary Bharat Raj Paudyal and other senior officials visited India, the world kept a keen eye on the probable developments, after the cold demeanour of the recent past over the border row.
As mentioned by the spokesman for India’s Ministry of External Affairs (MEA), Anurag Arivastava, the primary vision of this meeting lay in having constructive discussions on the bilateral relationship between the two countries, that has indeed been taking the test of time and implement constructive measures for the future.

Dhaka: Bangladesh Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has thanked her Indian counterpart Narendra Modi for sending 20 lakh doses of Oxford-AstraZeneca Covid-19 vaccines to assist the country in its fight against the novel coronavirus. I m thanking Prime Minister Modi for sending the vaccine as a gift, I do expect that Bangladesh will get rid of the Covid-19 pandemic, Hasina said on Thursday while thanking Modi for sending the Covid-19 vaccines to Bangladesh.
Hasina and Modi also discussed the ongoing bilateral collaboration between the private sectors.
QC processed 52% transactions online in 2020

Doha: Qatar Chamber General Manager, Saleh bin Hamad Al Sharqi said yesterday that the chamber processed 52 percent transactions online last year. The chamber processed about 68,369 transactions in 2020, of which 35,274 transactions were processed online.
He also noted that about 35086 certificates of origin, of which 17637 issued online, accounting for 50.3 percent of the total number of certificates of origin.
In 2020, about 52 percent of the Chamber’s transactions were implemented online through the website. The Chamber has achieved significant progress in its electronic services and further developed its technological infrastructure with the aim to streamline services and transactions for its members.
