Pakistan has categorically rejected Indian allegations of cross-border infiltration, saying the movement against illegal occupation in the Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir is indigenous.
In a statement, the Foreign Office spokesperson Zahid Hafeez Chaudhry said peace and security in the region is threatened on account of India s brutalization of Kashmiri people and refusal to resolve the dispute in accordance with the United Nations Security Council Resolutions.
The spokesperson issued the statement in response to media queries regarding the comments made by Indian External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar on Wednesday.

Pakistan’s Foreign Office on Thursday “categorically rejected the allegations of any cross-border infiltration,” adding that regional peace and security was solely threatened due to India’s “brutalization of Kashmiri people.”

Islamabad, May 28 : Pakistan has categorically rejected an allegation levelled by India, accusing Islamabad of cross-border infiltration, counter-accusing New Delhi for practicing what it called brutalization against the people of Kashmir.
Foreign Office spokesman Zahid Hafeez Chaudhri said that it was New Delhi s brutalization of Kashmiri people, that threatened regional peace . Peace and security in the region are threatened on account of India s brutalization of Kashmiri people and refusal to resolve the Jammu and Kashmir dispute in accordance with the UN Security Council (UNSC) resolutions, and its own pledges to the international community and the Kashmiris.
Hailing it as a source of investment (USD 15 Billion) and employment (200,000 jobs) which will provide a boost to the country’s economy, it refuted the Opposition’s allegations that it compromised the country’s sovereignty and will become a Chinese colony in Sri Lanka.
