JASPER COUNTY, (WLFI) State and local investigators are offering a reward of up to $5,000 for information leading to an arrest and conviction of the person(s) responsible for starting a barn fire in Jasper County.
According to Indiana Department of Homeland Security, on the evening of Jan. 23, the Remington Volunteer Fire Department and Jasper County Sheriff’s Office responded to a large barn fire at 14341 S. County Road 980 W. in Goodland, Ind. The fire resulted in a total loss of the structure and all the vehicles both inside and surrounding the barn.

Ind. – A Winter Weather Advisory has been issued by the National Weather Service (NWS) for much of central Indiana including Bartholomew and Johnson Counties. The advisory is in effect from 5 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Monday, January 25.
NWS says that mixed precipitation of snow and ice is expected and accumulations of up to one inch is possible.
Drivers should plan on slippery road conditions throughout the morning commute.
