Member of white supremacist prison gang pleads guilty to violent crime in aid of racketeering

A Texas man has pleaded guilty to violent gang-related activities in the Eastern District of Texas, announced Acting United States Attorney Nicholas J. Ganjei and Nicholas L. McQuaid, Acting Assistant Attorney General of the Justice Department’s Criminal Division.
Glynnwood Derrick, 46, pleaded guilty to assault resulting in serious bodily injury in aid of racketeering today before U.S. Magistrate Judge Zack Hawthorn.
“Gang violence has no place in our community,” said Acting United States Attorney Nicholas Ganjei. “The men and women of the Department of Justice, and our law enforcement partners, will do whatever it takes to safeguard our citizens from the predations of organized criminal gangs.”

Several booked into LaGrange County Jail
LAGRANGE â Several people were booked into the LaGrange County Jail from Monday, Dec. 28, through Thursday, Jan. 14, according to jail records.
Trisha Wierzbicki, 30, of the 400 block of West Boston Street, Syracuse, was arrested Monday, Dec. 28, by LaGrange County police on a warrant charging nonsupport of a child. Wierzbicki posted bond and was released Monday.
Justin Bowen, 32, of the 11200 block of West C.R. 800N, Shipshewana, was arrested Monday, Dec. 28, by LaGrange County police on a charge of possession of paraphernalia. Bowen posted bond and was released Monday.
Makayla Malkin, 23, of the 100 block of Searless Avenue, Benton Harbor, Michigan, was arrested Monday, Dec. 28, by the Indiana State Police on charges of possession of marijuana, possession of paraphernalia and driving without a license.
