Overnight lane closures planned next week on I-65

Courtesy-INDOT COLUMBUS, Ind. – The Indiana Department of Transportation (INDOT) is closing lanes overnight next week on northbound and southbound I-65 at the Deaver Road overpass in Bartholomew County as deck pans are installed over the interstate. The work is scheduled ahead of pouring the concrete bridge deck in the coming weeks. Lane closures will take place between the hours of 9 p.m. and 6 a.m. from Monday, May 10, through Thursday, May 13, weather permitting. The shutting down of lanes will help protect traffic from overhead work at the overpass. INDOT says Deaver Road is closed over I-65 until late June for work on a superstructure replacement project.
