Eric Holcomb and health officials updated the public on the state s coronavirus response on Thursday. There are now 189 vaccination sites in Indiana, Holcomb said. Holcomb said “it’s heartening” to see how many people are getting vaccines. The biggest limitation remains the allotment of vaccines made available to the state. Around 238,000 people between 70 and 79  years old have scheduled a vaccine or received a vaccine, Holcomb said. Around 626,000 total Hoosiers have scheduled or received a vaccine. Around 88,000 people have received both doses and are fully vaccinated, Indiana Health Commissioner Dr. Kristina Box said.
