On Monday Night, the Indiana Area School Board took no action on a motion concerning the compensation of real estate tax collectors.
The tax collectors would be paid on a per tax bill basis, but board Vice-President Julia Trimarchi-Cuccaro said that she felt more information was needed before the fee schedule was set.
The motion will be discussed in a special meeting of the Finance Committee before it comes back before the full board at their next meeting.

A number of items may come up tonight for the Indiana Area School Board’s Building, Grounds, and Transportation Committee.
The virtual meeting will include a cost estimate for the replacement of the roof at East Pike Elementary School.
There will also be a presentation of the architectural drawings for the Eisenhower Elementary entranceway, and a first draft of the new Eisenhower office and replacement and removal of the modular classrooms.
The meeting will also include discussion of the upgrade to the Junior High School sound system, for which $10,000 has already been allotted; an East Pike entranceway update; and a cost-by-building presentation for a needlepoint bipolar ionization system in the district. The systems would release ions using the existing HVAC systems of the buildings, essentially cleaning the air by gathering clusters of particles and trapping them in the HVAC filters.
