In a battle by pen, retired Pennridge teacher and coach Jeff Hollenbach (no relation to Mayor John Hollenbach, who is not seeking re-election) faces Kelly Laustsen, a small business owner. They are seeking write-in votes in both the Democratic and Republican primaries.
Neither candidate reported to which party they belong in their campaign announcements, but Hollenbach said he s a Republican and voter registration records list Laustsen as a Democrat.
