The Lao health ministry on May 10 afternoon said the country detected 25 cases of COVID-19 over the past 24 hours, the lowest number recorded in the country over the last 18 days.

The new cases were found in four out of 18 cities and provinces of Laos, including six in Vientiane capital and 15 in Bokeo province.
Laos continues to see lesser COVID-19 cases thanks to drastic measures taken by its government and all-level authorities, including the national lockdown imposed since the end of April.

LABUAN: The Labuan International Business and Financial Centre (Labuan IBFC) and five blockchain bodies from Southeast Asia and Australia have signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) to form the Asean Blockchain Consortium that aims to foster and strengthen cross-border relationships in promoting blockchain technology.
The bodies are Asosiasi Blockchain Indonesia (ABI), Blockchain Association Singapore (BAS), Distributed Ledger Technology Association of the Philippines (DLTAP), Thailand Digital Asset Operators Trade Association (TDO), and Blockchain Australia (BA).
In a statement Thursday, Labuan IBFC said the MoU marked the first collaboration between blockchain organisations across Asean and Australia to drive blockchain education, share knowledge on digital assets development, and promote adoption of blockchain technology across Asean and Australia.

DP World to set up $1.2bn port, logistics park in Indonesia
DUBAI, March 6, 2021 DP World, the leading provider of smart supply chain logistics, said it has joined hands with Caisse de dépôt et placement du Québec (CDPQ) and Indonesia s leading conglomerate Maspion Group to set up an international container port and industrial logistics park at Gresik region of East Java.
