It is the first production to be announced since the couple signed a major deal with Netflix last year, thought to be worth millions of pounds. The service said the couple would be producing “content that informs but also gives hope,” from documentaries and scripted series, to features and children’s programming.

Meghan Markle and Prince Harry have announced the first show Archewell Productions will create for Netflix: a docuseries following athletes as they train for the 2022 Invictus Games, the international sporting competition for wounded service members and veterans that Harry launched in 2014.
Heart of Invictus will be produced by the Oscar-winning duo of director Orlando von Einsiedel and producer Joanna Natasegara, known for documentaries

While Prince Harry and Meghan Markle were the stars of Oprah Winfrey s bombshell interview, it is athletes the Duke and Duchess of Sussex will turn their attention to for their first Netflix series.
The pair will produce their first TV series through Archewell Productions and focus on those competing in the Invictus Games for injured veterans in The Hague in 2022. The project will be done in partnership with The Invictus Games Foundation. The sporting event was delayed from 2020 until next spring because of the pandemic.
