Documentary on Invercargill s early buildings features in Southland Heritage Month

Pouākai Films The Last Tour: Inner City Heritage Stories documentary provides an insight into old buildings in Invercargill, stretching back to the 1800s. A documentary on the old buildings in the Invercargill CBD rebuild zone, before they were demolished, will be screened as part of Southland Heritage Month. The documentary, titled The Last Tour: Inner City Heritage Stories, will be shown at the Heritage-listed Embassy Theatre in Invercargill on March 18. It was to have been screened on March 4 but because of Southland moving to Covid-19 Alert Level 2 it had to be postponed. March is the province’s heritage month.
