On Monday night, the Racine Unified School District unveiled its plan to bring students back to the school board, which includes extra cleaning, social distancing measures and more, but teachers say it isn t enough until they re fully vaccinated.
RACINE, Wis. - To return to in-person or not was the debate continuing Monday night, Feb. 22 at the Racine Unified School District which plans to welcome some students back to physical class March 1. Teachers say they just don t feel it s safe, with Racine still facing a high rate of spread of the coronavirus.

House fire on Alpine Drive in Washington County
WASHINGTON COUNTY, Wis. - Firefighters on Tuesday, Feb. 23 responded to the scene of a house fire in the Town of Addison. The call came in around 1:05 a.m.
The Washington County Sheriff’s Office was notified of a house fire at a single-family residence in the area of Alpine Drive and Highway 33.
The fire was reported by one of the homeowners. The homeowners first reported observing active flames coming from the sunroom located at the rear of the residence. The homeowners were able to safely evacuate the residence along with their dog.
