HORN® has started the furnace heat-up process at GCA s new 400 t/d end fired furnace in Turkey.
The lighting took place on Tuesday, 2 February. The first glass was on 19 February. The entire start-up process had been and will continue to be supported by HORN® technicians. This project is a very special one since we have installed our new forehearth system GCS® 301-advanced for the first time. The performance test is expected to begin in mid March.

Glaston has closed a follow-up deal with Lippert Components Inc. for an automotive pre-processing line and an insulating glass line.
Glaston Group has closed a follow-up deal with US based Lippert Components Inc., an industry leading manufacturer and supplier to the recreational vehicle (RV), Marine, Power Sports and Mass Transit Markets, for an automotive pre-processing line and an insulating glass line. The orders are booked in Glaston’s Q4/2020 order book. The lines will be delivered during the third and fourth quarters of 2021.
