When the pandemic first hit, Sarah Holt worked nonstop, running on adrenaline and buoyed by the cheers, songs and free coffee and pizza for health-care workers at Utah s Intermountain Medical Center, where she s a registered nurse. Several months in, she learned firsthand what it s like to battle covid-19 - she and her husband contracted the coronavirus, isolating for three weeks in the fall. Like countless other health-care workers, she went back to the grind of treating patients once she tested negative and felt better.

The man told police he lost it after finding out his child was failing in class. Police were alerted on Tuesday about the child, who had been brought to Intermountain Medical Center with numerous contusions. The child told an officer their father became upset after showing him their grades. The man has not been named to protect the identity of the child. The man from West Valley City reportedly grabbed a silver metal bar, telling his child to put out their hands because they were going to get a whooping.

Corner Canyon teacher returns to classroom after beating COVID-19

KSL TV DRAPER – Tuesday was an exciting but nerve-racking day for a Corner Canyon High School teacher who returned to the classroom for the first time since ending up in the intensive care unit with COVID-19. Just over four months ago, Charri Jensen was fighting for her life hooked up to a ventilator. But on Tuesday, she walked into her Corner Canyon classroom just after 7 a.m. Home away from home, Jensen said in a coworker s video. I haven t been here in over four and a half months. I love this place. It was back on Sept. 10 when Jensen tested positive for the virus. Days later, she was on a ventilator fighting for her life in the ICU. No one knew if she was going to make it.
