On May 14 at 7:30 p.m., Interlochen Arts Academy will present a livestreamed performance of
The Little Prince, an opera in two acts by composer Rachel Portman based on the beloved 1943 novella by Antoine de Saint-Exupéry. The performance can be streamed for free on the Interlochen website at live.interlochen.org.

Hi Kids Commuters! All week long we re going to hear music from Rachel Portman s opera, The Little Prince, based on the beloved classic book by Antoine de Saint-Exupéry.
We ll meet characters from the story while listening to beautiful music from this contemporary novel.
We also have a special bonus for you. On Friday, May 14, Interlochen Arts Academy will be live-streaming their performance of the opera and the Kids Commute team is inviting you to an online watch party.

The Sundance Institute named on Monday the artists and projects for the first group of its upcoming summer labs. The group includes 12 fellows for the directors and screenwriters labs and nine artists participating in the Native and Indigenous lab which focuses on the development of storytellers from those backgrounds through feature film, episodic work and other pursuits. One artist will participate in both labs.
Elements of this year’s labs will take place digitally via Sundance Collab.

Classical and jazz flutist Nancy Stagnitta has performed concerts and taught around the world.
Madison Flute Club sponsors this annual event for flute players and listeners, with a mix of interactive workshops, talks and performances taking place on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays through May 8. Recitals this week include classical and jazz flautist
