A scrambler bike rider was shot in his leg and arm when two thugs confronted him.
The victim, in his 30s, was travelling down Alder Lane, in Knowsley Village, this afternoon when he was approached by two men.
One of the gun yobs was on his own bike, described as blue and white in colour, and the second stole the victim s bike and rode off on it.
That is a red and white Honda.

A man out jogging was knocked to the ground and repeatedly kicked by a gang of men. The appalling unprovoked attack happened yesterday around 12.20pm as the man was running on Blundells Lane near the golf course in Rainhill.
Police said a man in his 50s was approached by three men on the pathway who knocked him to the ground.
He was then kicked to the face and ribs and is reported to have suffered a broken cheek bone just under his eye.

POLICE say the fire at Haydock Catholic Club was started deliberately. Firefighters spent more than three hours on Friday evening (January 15) from around 5.30pm at the scene of the blaze that ripped through the former social club. The blaze took hold at the derelict Haydock Catholic Club on Church Road. Dramatic pictures shared by residents showed flames and smoke coming from the building.
