Kingdom FM Police are asking for information after a robbery, which took place at a petrol station in Dunfermline in the early hours of this morning.
At around 4:40am, two men entered the BP filling station, formerly known as Jet, in the town s Bothwell Street.
A male member of staff was threatened with a weapon and money was demanded.
Both men took a three-figure sum of cash and a quantity of tobacco.
The member of staff, who is 25-years-old, wasn t injured, but was left extremely shaken.
Both suspects are described as white, around 6 foot in height and of medium build.
DETECTIVES are appealing for information after a terrifying robbery at a filling station in Dunfermline early this morning (Monday). Around 4.40am1, two men entered the BP petrol station in Bothwell Street and threatened the male member of staff with a weapon and demanded money. The two suspects then made off with a three-figure sum of cash and a quantity of tobacco. The 25 year-old member of staff was uninjured. Both suspects are described as white, around 6ft in height and of medium build. They were wearing dark-coloured tracksuit trousers and grey hooded tops with their hoods up. Both of them were also wearing face-coverings.

Detective Inspector Karen Muirhead of Dunfermline Police Station said: “This was a terrifying ordeal for the member of staff who is extremely shaken as a result of this robbery.
“We are carrying out enquiries and gathering CCTV footage from the local area to establish more information to trace the two men responsible for this robbery.
“At this time I would urge anyone who saw two men acting suspiciously in the area of Bothwell Street to contact us.
