An elderly woman has had her handbag stolen from her North Staffordshire home while she mowed her lawn.
The pensioner was targeted while she was in her garden on Churnet Valley Road, in Kingsley Holt, at around 2pm yesterday (May 18).

A wildlife charity has been left counting the cost after vandals destroyed a bird hide at one of its nature reserves.
