MUMBAI: Chennai Super Kings (CSK) skipper MS Dhoni would like to see his team get back to winning ways in the upcoming edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL). One of the most successful IPL teams, CSK failed to reach the playoffs last year and Dhoni is leaving no stone unturned to make sure the side gets back to form ahead of the 14th edition.
CSK on Monday shared a video from the team s net session, where the former Indian skipper was seen whacking sixes all around the park. Dhoni fired on all cylinders as he muscled the ball in the nets during the practice session.

CHENNAI: Muslim cricketers in the past had decided against wearing jerseys be it for their country or club sporting logos of liquor brands due to their religious beliefs. On Sunday, it was learnt that Chennai Super Kings’ new recruit Moeen Ali has decided to do the same in the upcoming IPL, starting from April 9.
CSK have the logo of sponsors SNJ 10000 packaged drinking water and British Empire glasses surrogate product brands of SNJ Distilleries Private Limited. According to the deal, the jerseys will carry the logo of SNJ 10000 on the leading arm while British Empire logos will be on the back of the helmets.

CHENNAI: Cheteshwar Pujara s reputation as a Test specialist had hampered his IPL prospects for last few years but India s No 3 is now ready to turn the corner for CSK in the upcoming edition, having picked up cues from the likes of Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli.
Pujara, who went unsold for a number of years, was picked up by CSK at a base price of Rs 50 lakh during the last auction and he is now ready with a changed mindset and approach towards the shortest format.
Asked about his strike-rate which will always be highlighted because of his lack of power-hitting, Pujara said that he will rely on timing like his national team skipper Kohli or his deputy Rohit.
