UH launches Comprehensive Pain Center in Parma Dr. Kutaiba Tabbaa, medical director of the Comprehensive Pain Center at UH Parma University Hospitals is debuting a Comprehensive Pain Center, building on existing treatment for chronic pain management and expanding offerings. Offering physical and occupational therapy, behavioral health and addiction services, the new center will be located at UH Parma Medical Center, adding to the hospital s proven interventional pain management program, according to a news release. UH Parma also was one of the first launch sites for Thrive ED, a peer support program linking emergency department patients to substance abuse treatments. RAVENNA  An Ohio man who served nearly 12 years in prison for dousing his wife in kerosene and threatening to set her on fire, is now charged with attempted murder in the stabbing of a relative of another woman he had attacked last September. Patrick M. Boggs, 51, of Ravenna, was free on bond after pleading guilty March 1 to domestic violence involving the second woman. Ravenna Police Capt. Jake Smallfield said Boggs stabbed a relative of the second woman in the neck and chest after breaking into the relative s apartment early Tuesday morning. Police said Boggs was identified by the victim and was arrested at about 11 a.m. Tuesday by an off-duty officer at a discount store in Ravenna. He is being held in the Portage County Jail.
