LAS CRUCES - During its first in-person meeting since March 2020, the Las Cruces City Council swiftly extended the mayor’s latest emergency proclamation that mandates masks for those who cannot provide proof of vaccination against COVID-19 before they enter council chambers.
Though after the vote, opponents who believed they missed out on a chance to provide public input on the proclamation were given an opportunity to speak against the mask rules.
