Margao (Goa) [India], February 19 (ANI): Vision for All eye camps will be held all over the State as part of governments effort to reduce chances of blindness among the people, stated Goa Chief Minister, Dr Pramod Sawant on Thursday at Ravindra Bhavan, Margao.
Speaking at an inaugural program of Free Eye Check-up and Surgery Camp under the project Vision for All organised by the State s Directorate of Health Services the Chief Minister said that the Government intends to provide super specialty eye treatment through the project Vision For All .

VIJAYAWADA: The state government has formed state and district-level committees, and a governing body for implementation of the National Programme on Climate Change and Human Health, which aims to strengthen healthcare services against adverse impact of climate change on health.
The state health minister, and the department principal secretary are the chairperson and vice-chairperson of the governing body, respectively. 42 new COVID cases detected in state
Panaji: Goa, on Sunday, witnessed 42 new COVID-19 cases, and a death linked to the deadly virus, taking the number of active COVID-19 cases to 546.
Around 79 patients recovered from the deadly virus during the last 24-hours. The confirmed cases of deadly virus in the state now stand at 54,235, of which 52,910 patients have defeated the deadly disease.
According to the health bulletin, till date 779 patients have died of the dreaded Corona virus disease in the state.
As per the Directorate of Health Services, active positive cases in the jurisdiction of urban health centres stand as follows: Margao – 59 cases, Vasco – 15 cases, Panaji – 40 cases and Mapusa- 20 cases.
