A year ago the World Health Organization declared Covid-19 a pandemic. The anniversary marks a moment where we can take stock of the greatest crisis facing the UK outside wartime for 100 years.

People in the South West of England have been urged to pull together as the nation prepares to have coronavirus lockdown restrictions eased. In a joint statement, Public Health England (PHE) South West s Acting Deputy Director Mike Wade and Acting Deputy Director of Health Protection Dominic Mellon have laid out their thoughts on the roadmap unveiled by Boris Johnson on Monday (February 22).
