The City of Laredo on Sunday lifted the boil water notice that City Council had enacted on Wednesday for the Highway 359 area.
Like many other cities throughout Texas, Laredo’s water system was plagued by low pressure and outages last week. Freezing and fluctuating temperatures caused more than a dozen water main breaks, and electric outages affected the city’s lift stations and water treatment plants, which were forced to work on generator power.
