Model question papers of Science Group for grade 9th and 10th issued by BSEK

KARACHI: The Board of Secondary Education Karachi (BSEK) released model question papers for ninth and tenth grades of Science Group on Thursday.
The pattern showed in the model papers will be implemented across Pakistan under the new National Scheme of Studies.
According to a report by
Geo News, the BSEK’s Research Section completed the task along with the help of senior subject teachers from reputed government and private schools.
BSEK said a workshop was also organised in the said regard before the issuance of model papers. It said that a number of teachers took part in the training workshop.

The Sindh High Court has ordered NADRA to issue B-form to a young woman who is an orphan and can’t meet the authority’s condition of showing her parents’ CNIC.
The Board of Secondary Education Karachi had denied Maham Rehman an admit card for the matriculation exam because she couldnât submit her B-form, an identification document for people under the age of 18.
Matric, Inter boards get new chairmen

The Sindh universities and boards department on Wednesday appointed Prof Dr Saeeduddin as the chairman of the Board of Intermediate Education Karachi (BIEK). Meanwhile, Syed Sharaf Ali Shah assumed charge of the chairman of the Board of Secondary Education Karachi (BSEK).
A notification issued by the department read that on the recommendation of the search committee and with the approval of the CM, who is the controlling authority of the educational boards, Sharaf was appointed as the BSEK chairman under the Sindh Board Intermediate and Secondary Education Ordinance 1972.
The notification read that the interim contract of Prof Dr Saeeduddin as the matric board chairman had been withdrawn after the appointment of the new chairman. However, another notification issued by the department read that Prof Dr Saeeduddin had been appointed as the chairman of the intermediate board.
