Penn State’s women’s lacrosse had four players earn All-Big Ten selections on Thursday, bringing the Nittany Lions up to 26 All-Big Ten selections since joining the conference in 2015.
The four All-Big Ten selections were midfielder Olivia Dirks, attacker Maria Auth, defender Sammy Helgeson, and midfielder Kristin O’Neill.
Dirks was selected unanimously as a first-team All-Big Ten selection after having a huge impact on the Nittany Lions’ success in the regular season. Dirks leads Penn State with 71 draws, 17 caused turnovers, 28 goals, and 11 assists entering Thursday’s NCAA Tournament matchup against Johns Hopkins.
During the regular season, Dirks had nine multi-point games and four games with five or more points. She currently ranks at eight in the Big Ten with 39 points and ninth in goals with 28. She has been a huge presence this season on the draw as well and has won 10 or more draw controls in four games this season.

Few teams have invested as much into their pass-rush group than the Jacksonville Jaguars in recent years, but that doesn t mean the work is done.
The Jaguars have had three first-round picks (all in the top-20) over the last two seasons. Two of those picks have been used on edge defenders: Josh Allen at No. 7 overall in 2019 and K Lavon Chaisson at No. 20 overall in 2020.
2. He has Sabres connections
Weissbach played at Wisconsin under head coach Tony Granato, the brother of Sabres interim head coach Don Granato. Don is a fellow Badgers alum, earning a national title as a junior in 1990.

Weissbach also has history with Sabres defenseman Rasmus Dahlin, with whom he was teammates in the Frölunda organization in Sweden.

While it s far from the most pressing rule change set to be discussed and voted on by NFL owners this offseason, a proposal to expand the use of single-digit numbers for different position groups appears to be gaining traction.
2021 NFL Draft class with another potential offensive line target: Oklahoma center Creed Humphrey.
While the Buccaneers currently are set on the interior of the offensive line, it’s expected that Humprey will be a late first round or early second round pick. I i don t expect them to draft him in the first round, however if they could somehow get Humphrey in the second round, it’d be a steal.
CREED HUMPHREY’S COLLEGIATE CAREER
Coming out of high school, according to 247sports, Humphrey was a four-star center from Shawnee, Oklahoma. He decided to stay home and play for the Sooners. After redshirting in 2017, Humphrey started 11 games in 2018 and was named Second Team All-Big 12 and a Freshman All-American by FWAA and The Athletic.
