Here are the COVID-19 vaccine pop-up clinics taking place around San Antonio SAN ANTONIO – A series of clinics are popping up to help ramp up the COVID-19 vaccination effort around San Antonio. Here is a list of the pop-up clinics: Saturday, July 10: 8 a.m. - 1 p.m.: SA Vaccine Day at AT&T Center, 1 AT&T Center Parkway 78219. This clinic will be administering the Pfizer vaccine. 9 a.m. - 8 p.m.: San Antonio International Airport Terminal A Baggage Claim, 9800 Airport Blvd. 78216. This clinic will be administering the Pfizer and Johnson and Johnson vaccines. 10 a.m. - 1 p.m.: San Antonio Preparatory Community School, 6127 Summer Fest Dr. 78244. This clinic will be administering the Pfizer vaccine.

This is the season of Promise.”  Howard Thurman Forty years after his death, Howard Thurman is experiencing a revival of sorts. The  Christian Century magazine recently featured book reviews of two recent works highlighting Thurman s legacy both in the areas of social justice and spiritual formation.  Thurman had a close connection with Martin Luther King Jr., as they were together at Boston University s School of Theology, a Methodist seminary where Thurman was dean of the chapel. King was ever the activist, Thurman the thoughtful mystic for race relations improvement.
