As part of our administration’s efforts to increase transparency and introduce all of you to the policy experts who are leading the President’s initiatives, we’re joined today by Domestic Policy Advisor Susan Rice, who will be talking about the racial equity executive order that the President will be signing this afternoon.
She’s kindly offered to stick around and take some questions. I will, as usual, play the role of bad cop when it’s time for her to go.

We ve officially got some new words in the English language! When Vice President Kamala Harris was sworn in to office of January 20th, she not only made history as the first black person in the position and the first woman in the position, but she helped create a new term, Second Gentleman (even the news people covering the event were stumbling over how to address Harris husband).
According to NEWSER, the term Second Gentleman is now official in the Merriam-Webster s Dictionary. As the article states, it s defined as he husband or male partner of a vice president or second in command of a country or jurisdiction .
