Summer meals program for youth to begin June 1 in Jamestown, Enderlin

The Youth Summer Meals Program will be offered again in Jamestown and in Enderlin starting June 1, Great Plains Food Bank announced Monday.
The Youth Summer Meals Program helps to provide free meals for children younger than age 18 during the summer months when school lunch and breakfast programs aren’t available. In addition to Jamestown and Enderlin, programs return to West Fargo, Fargo and Bismarck and new locations will be offered in Grenora, Trenton, Casselton, Mapleton and Chaffee, Great Plains Food Bank said in a news release.

JAMESTOWN, N.D. (newsDakota.com) – A local Boy Scout has accomplished his goal of collecting clothing donations for the North Dakota State Hospital and has taken steps towards completing his Eagle Scout project.
Logan-Ross Motter chose to do a clothing drive for NDSH clients. His initial planning had him considering several projects, including a Food Drive and Pet Adoption Drive, but ultimately believed this fit his interests most and could be of the most benefit to the community and the clients that we serve.
“His project plan was to collect clothing donations from the community, launder all donations and deliver them to NDSH,” Elsie Motter, Logan’s mom stated.
