Seth Meyers Extends Late Night Tenure Through 2025

Seth Meyers will roll into his second decade as host of NBC s
Late Night.
Meyers has renewed his deal to continue as host of the 12:35 a.m. show through 2025. The four year-extension comes as his current deal, signed back in 2016, was set to expire.
The new deal will take Meyers through his 11th year hosting the show, which will tie him with David Letterman for the second-longest tenure at
Late Night. Meyers took over as host from Jimmy Fallon in February 2014.
Additionally, Meyers and producing partner Mike Shoemaker have signed an overall deal for their Sethmaker Shoemeyers Productions at Universal Studio Group. That deal also runs through 2025. The company is behind Peacock s

On Thursday’s episode of “Late Night With Seth Meyers,” Sanders said he was amused by the now-ubiquitous image, which has Twitter hailing the Vermont senator for his commitment to social distancing and utilitarian fashion choices.
Sanders couldn’t help but laugh when Meyers produced one of his favorite takes on the meme, placing Inauguration Bernie on a couch with the women of “Sex and the City,” and asked if Sanders had been tracking his social media fame.
